Cellular Genetics Programme
What we do
The Admin Support Team supports the Cellular Genetics Programme in a variety of roles including:
Research Management
- Providing comprehensive research management support to the Head of Programme and Faculty of Cellular Genetics
- Collaborating across various internal departments, as well as our external funders and collaborators to deliver grant applications and management, contracts and ethical agreements
Project Management
- Providing project management support to key projects across the Programme, including 3rd party funding and internal initiatives
- Supporting project planning, tracking and reporting, and risk management
Team Administration
- Taking care of administrative tasks to enable scientific staff to dedicate time to scientific research
- Overseeing diary management, email inboxes, travel arrangements, recruitment and onboarding
Process Improvement
- Making processes more streamlined and optimising support
- Improving stakeholder relationships and ways of working
Scientific Writing
- Providing editing and writing support for papers, grant applications, presentations and more
- Providing writing workshops and training
Our goal is to handle the diverse research management and administrative tasks essential to the delivery of our sciences, leaving our Faculty Teams free to focus on research activities and scientific strategy. Alongside efficient delivery, we aim to improve processes, reduce costs and improve wellbeing.
