Louella is a bioinformatician working on high dimensional genomics data such as RNA-, ChiP- sequencing and DNA methylation. She is interested in how genetic variation affects the transcriptional and epigenetic landscapes that mark cellular identity. She wants to gain an in depth understanding of the biology of stem cell differentiation using blood as a model system. She is currently working on the Blueprint project and genomic characterisations of novel blood cells derived from human stem cells.
