Dan is a software developer within the Medical Genomics team, creating tools to assist scientists in performing genetic association studies.
My development interests are to create tools that facilitate and expedite association studies. Most of the tools I create or contribute to are web-based, written in JavaScript and Python. So far, the main tool I have created in my time here is Snoopy, a tool to expedite manual quality control of next generation sequencing data. I also maintain the phenotype database phenodb (orignally developed by my predecessor James Morris).
