Alumni
This person is a member of Sanger Institute Alumni.
Tomás is a computational PhD student interested in T cell biology and differentiation, and which pathways and transcription factors regulate the cell fate decisions involved. For this he analyses different types of sequencing data, mainly RNA and ATAC-seq. His core training is Molecular Biology, for which he did a BSc in Lisbon, Portugal, followed by an MSc in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, also in Lisbon. In his master thesis he worked in the relationship between transcription and RNA processing in human cells, by analysing mNET-seq or RNA-seq data from different cellular fractions.
