The aim of my project is to investigate how genetic alterations can affect mutualistic host-microbiota interactions in the intestinal tract and promote inflammatory bowel disease. In the last five years I have worked in the US and in France, developing a strong expertise in cell line and primary cultures, with the ability to use a wide variety of modern cell and molecular biology techniques to analyse signalling pathways.
