Louise is a PhD student at the University of Cambridge focussing on the epidemiology of chronic diseases in Uganda. Her supervisor is Dr Manj Sandhu. Louise is also a Communications Editor for the journal Global Health, Epidemiology and Genomics.
I have a MSc in Public Health (Distinction) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Health and a BSc in Biomedical Science from University College London.
Before starting my PhD, I worked with the Sandhu Group as a research administrative assistant, assisting with the scientific work of the group and the activities of the African Partnership for Chronic Disease Research (APCDR).
In my role as a Communications Editor for the open access journal Globa Health, Epidemiology and Genomics, an on-line, open access journal published by Cambridge University Press (http://gheg-journal.co.uk/). I have shared responsibility for the journal’s social media content.
