My main research interests lie in how genetic variation influences transcriptional regulation and gene expression programs.
To fulfil this goal I am currently in the group of Professor Nicole Soranzo. Here we study the effects and consequences of genetic variation on epigenetic and transcriptional regulation at a population level. Using immune cells as our model, I am primarily involved in large scale data acquisition and analysis of ChIP-seq experiments for transcription factors essential to myeloid cell function.
